Terms and conditions for Louise Kidd Reflexology (updated Feb-26)

1. Appointments

• When making an appointment you agree to a consultation with me prior to the treatment and you will disclose any relevant medical information.

• If you present with any condition or symptom which could be a contraindication, I reserve the right to postpone your treatment until medical advice is sought.

• If you arrive late for your appointment I will try to accommodate you. However, if you are more than ten minutes late, I may need to reduce the treatment time accordingly and the full appointment fee will be due.

 

2. Fees

• Appointment fees can be found on my website. Fees are either payable in advance as part of a treatment package or in full at the time of treatment. Fees for group bookings and home visits must be paid in advance on the day, prior to the appointment time.

• Fees can be paid by Bank Transfer, Cash or Card.

• I reserve the right to choose to use discretion regarding the application of any discounts.

 

3. Cancellation Policy

• I understand the need to cancel appointments in case of illness, etc. There may be an occasion when I need to cancel your appointment as well. On this basis I do not charge my clients a cancellation fee*.

 

• For clients who have booked online, you may cancel or reschedule 24 hours in advance of your appointment. If you need to cancel with less than 24 hours, I ask that you notify me by phone (be that a voicemail / text / Whatsapp if you cannot get through to me).

 

*In the case of repeated cancellations or repeated late-notice rescheduling, I will request full, upfront payment to secure your appointment in future.

 

4. Treatment packages

• I offer the option to book a package of one-hour treatments. These are provided at a reduced price as they are paid for in advance and only apply to one-hour treatments at my home studio.

• These treatments must be used within six months.

• In exceptional circumstances you may request a refund (i.e. if you become unable to attend appointments). In this case, if you have already attended one or more appointments, these will be charged at the full rate and you will be refunded the remaining balance.

 

5. Vouchers

• I supply the option to buy gift vouchers for treatments and these will be electronic gift vouchers only.

• Gift vouchers are valid for six months from the date of purchase and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Gift vouchers may be used for services of a higher value, on payment of the difference. No change will be given.
