LOUISE KIDD
REFLEXOLOGY
Reflexology and holistic therapy
for mind, body and soul
Does reflexology hurt?
Reflexology is generally a very relaxing experience. You may feel some transient tenderness or sensitivity on certain reflexes. I do not use very firm pressure.

Is reflexology right for me?
There are few contraindications to receiving a reflexology treatment (such as current blood clotting conditions). Please get in touch if you have any concerns.
Acupressure Facial Therapy, hand reflexology or seated head massage are great alternatives. All my treatments are adaptable - please discuss your needs with me.

What happens at my first appointment?
I will take a medical consultation to find out about your health and treatment needs. I am required to do this by my insurer and professional body. I will also ask you to sign a consent form.

What are your qualifications?
I am trained in Reflexology for Wellbeing and hold a nationally recognised and regulated Level 3 Diploma. I am fully insured and a member of the Association of Reflexologists (AoR), which means I am bound by the AoR Code of Practice and Ethics and required to keep learning by undertaking Continuing Professional Development. I also hold Enhanced DBS Clearance. I am also trained in Acupressure Facial Therapy and Indian Head Massage.

Who do you treat?
I treat people of all ages, including children and pregnant clients.

Where are you located?
I am based in Farnborough, Hampshire, within easy reach of the M3 and A3. I also offer mobile treatments within a 5 mile radius of my address. If you live outside of this area please enquire about the possibility of a home visit, which can be arranged at an extra cost. My reflexology studio is on the ground floor but not easily accessible if you are a wheelchair user, please contact me to book a home visit in this case.
Can you come to my workplace?
Yes! I provide workplace treatments.

I have health insurance - can you provide me with an invoice?
Yes! I will provide you with an invoice for treatments listing my AoR registration number.

How do I book?
Please contact me to arrange an appointment, letting me know your preferred day/times and whether you would like a studio or mobile appointment. I offer appointments on Mondays 16:30 - 20:30, Wednesdays 10:00 - 18:00 and Fridays 10:00 - 18:00. Saturday appointments available on request.

What if I need to cancel or change my appointment?
If you need to rearrange your appointment please let me know as soon as possible. Cancellations within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a late notice cancellation fee.

How do I pay?
Payment can be made by bank transfer, card or cash and receipts can be provided.

What should I do after the treatment?
Please drink water, avoid stimulants and rest as much as possible to look after yourself and prolong the effects of the treatment.

How many treatments will I need?
Your treatment plan will depend on your current wellbeing and what you are hoping to achieve from reflexology. If you have an ongoing problem or chronic condition I will recommend a course of treatments. Many clients also benefit from a monthly or regular 'maintenance' treatment, or will come as and when they need to.

Do you do Reiki?
Client who have experienced Reiki often ask me this. I work intuitively, connecting to universal energy and I use energy techniques where appropriate within my practice so you may well feel this during your treatment.
